1. Research the Rosters
For the sake of this article, I’m going to assume that most Americans aren’t following the EPL closely enough to be fully aware of transactions that happen season-to-season.
You might know where the Ronaldo and Messi’s are playing, but once you get past the top-tier guys, it becomes much harder to follow.
The first step you need to take before placing a bet on an EPL match is looking at the roster. Betting on soccer, although it might feel relatively unfamiliar, isn’t any different from betting on the typical basketball or football events.
Meaning, it all comes down to the players.
Before you put any money down on a match, know which teams have impact players. Don’t worry if you don’t have the name-recognition you might have with your favorite American athletes.
