The grid below is to be used for a unique office pool that uses the last digits from the final score of every game throughout the entire tournament. There are a total of 63 games in the tournament, 67 if you count the play-in games. Each game has a winning square! At the bottom of this page, we go into further directions on running this pool. We have taken this pool even further with our College Basketball Block Pool, which redraws numbers for all 6 rounds of the tournament. If you're looking for a grid for just a single game you can use our normal 100 Square Grid.

How to run a 100 Square Pool

What??? There's another March Madness Pool?
Most people think that the College Basketball Bracket is the only office pool you can run during the tournament. We like to think outside the box and come up with new creative pools to run, such as our College Basketall Tourney Props Pool and the March Madness Square pool you see above.

How does the Square Pool work?
The concept is the same as the Super Bowl Squares, in that you will be using the last digits of the two team's scores to find the person's name in the intersecting square. The difference being you will only be using the final score of the game, and every game in the tournament will have a winning square. If you want to run a little more advanced pool, try our College Basketball Block Pool where the numbers representing the team scores will change for each round.

Step 1
Print the square grid from above and take it around to family and friends having them write their name in the square or squares of their choice.

Step 2
Once all the squares are full it is time to set up the drawing. This can be done in many ways, listed below are 2 examples. After determining the drawing method, draw the numbers one at a time placing the numbers from left to right starting with the first gray square box in the top row, continue across the top row until the numbers are gone. After that is complete you will redraw the numbers, this time placing the drawn numbers in the gray square boxes in the left column, starting at the top.
Example 1: Write the numbers 0-9 on pieces of paper and place them in a hat.
Example 2: Get a deck of cards A through 10, the ace represents a one, the 10 represents a 0, 2-9 are face value.

Winning Squares
In Round 1 Illinois beats Florida by a score of 93 to 86. On the top row you will be looking at the last digit of the winning team's score, which is 3, down the left hand column you will be looking at the last digit of the losing team's score which is 6. Find where these two numbers intersect on the grid and the person's name in that square wins. You will do this for every game of the tournament. Most pools will weight the winning prizes by round. There will either be a total of 63 or 67 winners, based on whether you choose to use the play-in games or not.

Round 1 - 32 games

Round 2 - 16 games

Round 3 - 8 games

Round 4 - 4 games

Round 6 - 1 game

How to run a Nascar 43 Office Pool

Step 1
Print the 43 square grid from above. Go to our Printable Nascar Schedule page to get a free printout of the Monster Energy races.

Step 2
Write the numbers 1-43 on separate pieces of paper and place them in a hat. Have each participant in the pool draw a number or multiple numbers based on how many people are going to be in the pool. Place the name of each person in the grid with the matching number.

Step 3
The numbers represent the qualifying order of the race. Write the name of each driver in the corresponding location on the grid, based on which position they qualified in. If the driver is in the pole position they would go in the #1 box. The driver in the 2 position would go in the #2 box and so on.

Winning the pool
Find the winner of the race on the grid and which ever players name is in the box wins the pool. For a little variety you can have the winner and the loser of the race both be winning squares.

If you like this pool try our Nascar Survivor Pool, where you try to pick the driver that will get the most points each week, but you can only pick each driver once.

*Our grids are intended for entertainment purposes only. Please check your local gambling laws for information on the legality of wagering money on office pools.
