GRINS Press Release January 27, 2020 Atlantic Lottery Corporation (ALC) has opened...Casino Nova Scotia Sydney and Casino Nova Scotia Halifax were both bought by the Great Canadian Gaming Corporation, which owns many casinos throughout the country. As part of this sale, the Corporation and the state negotiated their new operating contract. This saw the provincial government claiming 45.5% of all revenue generated by the casinos. Gambling Support Network The Gambling Support Network provides online and phone support for Nova Scotians and their families who may be affected by gambling-related harms. The network’s services are provided by trained professionals who help clients achieve their goals to reduce the harms from gambling. Gambling Risk Informed Nova Scotia (GRINS) is a not-for-profit organization based in Nova Scotia Canada. We have an all-volunteer board of community members who care deeply about the health and safety of our communities. Casino Nova Scotia is one of the top land based casinos in Nova Scotia. This casino offers over 500 slot games and features some of the latest and popular games around. Table games are also popular at Casino Nova Scotia and there is also a specific poker room for poker lovers.
